Which comparison matters most?

Two of these decide the architecture of the whole system. Power station versus DIY battery bank decides whether you cut into the vehicle at all, and 12V versus 24V decides the cable size, the fuse ratings and the component list for everything you buy afterwards.

The rest are component-level choices with clear technical answers: lithium versus AGM comes down to usable capacity rather than nameplate capacity, and MPPT versus PWM comes down to how much of a panel rating actually reaches the battery in cold or partly shaded conditions.

Recovery equipment under load is the genuinely dangerous part of this hobby. Kinetic rope versus tow strap and soft shackle versus steel shackle both exist because the wrong choice puts a heavy object on the end of a line storing enormous energy, and people have been killed by exactly that.

Electrical safety: a 12V system is low voltage but not low energy. Every circuit must be fused at the source of power, within a few inches of the battery terminal, at or below the ampacity of the smallest conductor it protects. Size cable for voltage drop as well as ampacity, and have any lithium installation inspected by a qualified installer before it carries load.
